RIP IT UP was formed in 2002 by Paul and Theresa Cross in response to an identified need for quality floor preparation in the building and renovation industry.

There was a definite change in the flooring industry as the flooring installers were being put under immense pressure to complete projects in unrealistic time frames. The building industry was about to boom like never before. That’s when, owner, Paul Cross decided that there had to be an easier way and researched methods overseas. Through this, we discovered our first ride-on floor scraper in the USA and RIP IT UP was created.
Beginning with a staff of one, RIP IT UP has grown rapidly and now employs approximately eleven staff members.
In combination with skilled staff, RIP IT UP, is equipped with nearly a million dollars in the latest machinery and tooling such as electric and LPG ride on scrapers, shot-blasters, scarifiers, single-head and four-head diamond grinders, dust extractors and the latest in diamond tooling.
Our fleet of trucks and vehicles are all equipped with hydraulic lifters and three phase generators, making it easy to unload and start working with minimum problems.
RIP IT UP now employs a full-time maintenance person with a fully equipped workshop and we keep all spare parts for all machines in stock, ensuring minimal down-time especially during critical time frames on large projects.
RIP IT UP is now one of the market leaders in the country travelling far and wide to service the floor preparation, polished concrete industry.
